Data & Research Analyst · Abuja, Nigeria
Analytical rigour. Strategic clarity. Executive-ready insight.
I design and deploy end-to-end data solutions, from predictive modelling and machine learning to BI dashboards and strategic written reports, that help organisations across Africa make better decisions, faster.
Who I Am
I am a data and research analyst based in Abuja, Nigeria, with a cross-disciplinary background combining quantitative methods and international policy. My academic training in International Relations from Covenant University (GPA 4.22) taught me to ask the right questions, and my technical training in R, SQL, Power BI, and machine learning gives me the tools to answer them with precision.
I work across the full analytical pipeline: data ingestion and cleaning, exploratory analysis, statistical modelling, and the design of executive-facing dashboards and written reports. I have delivered projects spanning financial services, real estate portfolio optimisation, HR analytics, and retail intelligence.
I have co-authored a book chapter in ICT Revolution in Africa (Kendall Hunt) quantifying internet penetration trends across five African regions. I am currently building a Conflict Trends Dashboard for West Africa using 10+ years of geospatial conflict data.
I am actively seeking a mid-level analyst or data scientist role where I can contribute rigorous, evidence-based analysis to teams that value precision and impact.
Portfolio
★ Featured Engagement
Designed a unified multi-variate analytical framework for AfriHabitat Properties Ltd. across five strategic African cities: Lagos, Nairobi, Accra, Johannesburg, and Kigali. Applied correlation analysis, regression modelling, and performance benchmarking to identify ROI drivers, classify developer efficiency, and produce an FY 2026 capital allocation roadmap for the client's leadership team.
Key finding: Nairobi's mid-market residential and mixed-use assets deliver the portfolio's highest ROI (11.2%), while Johannesburg and Kigali commercial stock shows yield compression from ageing inventory. Accra and Johannesburg lead in market growth rate (11.5% and 10.8% respectively), signalling the strongest long-term reinvestment opportunity across the portfolio.
